Lexical

Checked 2026-10-17 against official website/docs and repository. MIT source. Install lexical for the framework-agnostic core; React integration uses lexical plus @lexical/react, LexicalComposer and selected plugins. Toolbars, node types, serialization and other rich-text features are composed separately rather than provided as a complete styled application system. Official docs describe Yjs collaboration and Markdown/HTML/JSON serialization via additional packages. Editorial: useful for custom document editors and rich chat composers, including AI-interface input surfaces; expect product-specific UI, persistence, permissions and integration work. The homepage demonstrates an AI-enabled editor, but that is an example, not a promise that AI inference is included in the core package. No independent performance, WCAG or screen-reader certification asserted. No paid core-library plan found.
