Working with this library

Best fit: teams that want to own and adapt component source. Components are added to your project rather than treated as an opaque theme. The official repository is MIT licensed. The project describes its components as accessible; this collection did not independently audit keyboard or screen-reader behavior. Editorial tradeoff: ownership also means maintaining local customizations. Sources: https://ui.shadcn.com/docs and https://github.com/shadcn-ui/ui .
