Working with this library

Checked 2026-10-28 against official sources. Official README and documentation verify npm react-resizable-panels with bundled TypeScript declarations and current Group, Panel and Separator APIs. Supports horizontal/vertical layouts, constraints, collapse behavior and layout persistence; consult current docs because earlier examples use different export/size conventions. MIT source is free with retained notices. Editorial: useful for IDE-like editors, adjustable dashboards and multi-pane workspaces; the library manages resizing rather than supplying a full visual application theme. Numeric sizes and explicit unit strings have different semantics in current APIs. SSR percentage sizing can cause initial shifts; review the server-rendering guide. Test keyboard resizing, focus and minimum touch targets in context. Mobile nested scrolling is intentional documentation navigation/editor code; an additional bottom capture confirms installation/support content remains reachable.
