Honest AI

Checked 2026-10-14 against official sources. MIT source. Requires React 19, Tailwind CSS v4 and a project initialized with Honest UI; documented Node minimum is 20.18.1. Initialize with the Honest UI CLI, then add an ai.honestui.com registry URL. AI component source goes into components/ai; supporting Honest UI controls are copied into components/ui, while icons and charts use the honestui package. Components do not call models: transport, credentials, tools, persistence, authorization and error handling remain application responsibilities. Editorial: useful for presenting explicit agent states and reviewable actions without inventing progress. It is a dedicated AI-interface distribution built on Honest UI, not a backend agent framework. No paid component plan found in the checked docs; model/provider usage is separate. The landing is a scripted conversation with a scrolling transcript and fixed composer; no model calls were made. Full-page capture shows the complete page shell and initial transcript, not every scroll state. Extra transcript views were reviewed; one transient blank scroll frame is excluded from publication. No production integration or independent accessibility audit performed.
