Working with this library

Checked 2026-10-22 against official website/docs/repository. MIT source verified in runtypelabs/persona. Install @runtypelabs/persona, import widget.css and initAgentWidget, then configure the streaming backend or a scoped client-token flow. The official examples cover bare HTML, Next.js, SvelteKit, Express, Hono and agent SDK backends; these are integration examples, not framework-native component packages. Keep server/provider secrets behind your own backend. V5 is explicitly a preview, not a stable-release guarantee. Editorial: useful when an AI chat/agent surface must fit an existing non-React site. Voice and model/backend usage can incur separate charges; no priced widget license found. Tool execution, approvals, HTML rendering and accessibility need application-specific review.
