Magic UI

Checked 2026-10-20 against official website/docs and repository where available. Public magicuidesign/magicui source is MIT. Official installation follows shadcn setup; add individual registry components to your own source and include their specified dependencies. The homepage explicitly documents React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS and Motion; Next.js is an installation/template route, not a requirement inferred from the marketing site. Editorial: useful for intentional animated borders, text treatments, marquees and bento-like marketing surfaces, complementing rather than replacing application primitives. Pro is a separately sold product: current main pricing panel shows $199 one-time Individual License, commercial use, no source resale and lifetime access/updates. Other page copy still says $49 and a 30%-off promotion appears; currency and final discounted checkout total were not confirmed. No numeric/currency Pro plan is encoded; free core is verified. Upstream testimonials, customer logos and ROI calculator are source marketing, not our endorsement or verified performance. Review reduced-motion behavior and animation cost in the consuming app.
