Elix

Checked 2026-10-23 against official sources. MIT source verified in elix/elix. Install elix, then import a definition such as elix/define/Carousel.js and use the corresponding elix-carousel element. Source is standard JavaScript ES modules; TypeScript declarations and a React integration example are documented, not a separate native React component package. The official guide recommends pinning versions and warns customized components can encounter behavior changes even on minor updates. Editorial: useful when a design system needs reusable interaction building blocks and composable mixins rather than one fixed theme. Repository remains unarchived but latest source push is 2023-03-01 as checked today; evaluate maintenance and browser compatibility before a new deployment. Free core; separately offered professional support has no verified public amount and is not represented as a paid library plan. Upstream usability/browser claims were not independently audited.
