Working with this library

Verified 2026-10-11 against official sources. MIT licensed. For v10 and newer the official README prefers @daypicker/react; import DayPicker and @daypicker/react/style.css, then control selection with mode, selected and onSelect. Official docs state React 16.8+ compatibility and date-fns use. Alternative calendar systems use @daypicker add-on packages. Editorial: useful for React date inputs needing detailed selection/localization control without adopting a full component suite. The calendar is not a complete popover input; wire inputs, labels, dialogs and validation for the app. Official WCAG claims were not independently audited. React DayPicker/react-day-picker/@daypicker/react are one identity. No application integration or independent accessibility audit performed.
