Working with this library

Verified 2026-10-01 via the official site, repository README and MIT license. Currently beta and requires React 19+. Install @astryxdesign/core, a theme and @stylexjs/stylex, import prebuilt CSS and mount the theme provider. StyleX authors the internals; consumer customization can use className, CSS modules, plain CSS or Tailwind without adopting a StyleX build plugin. The CLI provides component documentation, templates and source-ejection workflows. Editorial value: a cohesive themeable product system, with agent-friendly tooling distinct from a small animation recipe library. Tradeoffs: React 19 and beta-version changes need integration planning; this run did not audit accessibility or reproduce author scale/performance claims. Free MIT code; optional external fonts, brands and sample media do not inherit that license automatically.
