SortableJS

Checked 2026-10-20 against official website/docs and repository where available. MIT source verified in SortableJS/Sortable. Install sortablejs, import Sortable and call Sortable.create(element, options), or select a modular core/complete build. Plugins can be mounted explicitly. It operates on DOM elements; React/Vue/Angular wrappers are separate packages with their own version compatibility, not native framework components inferred from the demo. The current official documentation includes touch options, group transfer, cloning, handles, filters, thresholds, nested lists and grid examples. Editorial: useful for boards, configurable dashboards and ordered lists where a whole component kit is unnecessary. It is an interaction utility, not a visual design system or sound library. Pointer/touch drag behavior alone does not establish keyboard accessibility: provide reorder buttons/commands, focus management and announcements in real products. No paid core offer found.
