Web Awesome

Checked 2026-10-15 against official sources. Web Awesome is the continuation of Shoelace; treat those identities as one family. MIT Core is verified; Pro has a separate commercial license. Add the default theme stylesheet and autoloader from the documented CDN, or install @awesome.me/webawesome and import components explicitly. React integration is documented; HTML custom elements are the underlying implementation. Editorial: useful when teams want reusable controls across stacks without adopting a single frontend framework. Current Pro page displayed blank numeric price slots, so no paid amount or currency is asserted. Pro is per seat, billed annually; the monthly display is a comparison figure. Team quotes are offered for five or more seats. License terms restrict standalone redistribution, and include exceptions for limited-license plans; do not assume every plan grants perpetual rights. Tax details unconfirmed. Core remains free and is not a license to Pro/Figma assets. Capture uses Necessary Only consent; the lower historical Kickstarter panel is dark in this static state, not a tested video preview. No production integration or independent accessibility audit performed.
