Edit Figma Design — Warp — AI skill

When to use it

Use for new mockups, component concepts or text-driven revisions to an existing Figma file. Resolves the destination file and reuses library assets before editing. Requires a connected Figma MCP exposing search_design_system, create_new_file and use_figma, plus access to the target file or plan. Not a screenshot capture or design-to-production-code skill; adjacent skills it references are not included in this repository. Upstream reviewed only; tool availability and runtime behavior were not tested.

Installation

Obtain the upstream warpdotdev/figma-skills repository. Following its README, copy the .agents folder into your home or project directory for Warp; the individual skill is at .agents/.skills/edit-figma-design/SKILL.md. Configure the required Figma MCP connection before asking for text-to-design authoring. The README names Oz too but does not provide separate Oz setup instructions.

Review the source and instructions before installing in your agent.

Pair this skill with a visual reference

A skill guides how your agent works; a design reference shows the direction you want. Choose an example for a specific job, such as the headline hierarchy or form layout, and keep your project's existing design rules explicit.

Start with design references you can inspect, then use our guide to briefing an AI coding agent to turn observations into requirements. If you need implementation components, compare UI libraries for your stack.

These pages are public. Browsing a skill does not install it, and TastefulKit's design-reference MCP tools do not search the AI-skill directory.
