SwiftUI Visual Design — wholiver — AI skill

When to use it

Use for a new iOS/macOS view or visual redesign: gather existing brand assets, compare distinct directions and create a brand-spec before implementation. Upstream requires Xcode 16+ and iOS 18+/macOS 15+ SDKs, plus its bundled Swift extensions. Aesthetic bans, token quotas and review scores are opinionated heuristics, not Apple requirements or measured quality. Not intended for compiler debugging, performance profiling or accessibility-only compliance; compile and test platform behavior independently. Not installed, executed or runtime-tested during discovery. GitHub stars are repository-wide, not a skill-specific rating.

Installation

Upstream documents npx skills add wholiver/swiftui-design-skill -g -y. Choose the installation scope appropriate for your agent; keep references/ and templates/ with SKILL.md, especially references/swift-extensions.md. Ask for SwiftUI design or review with the app context and existing brand guidelines. Xcode is needed to build and validate resulting code.

Review the source and instructions before installing in your agent.

Pair this skill with a visual reference

A skill guides how your agent works; a design reference shows the direction you want. Choose an example for a specific job, such as the headline hierarchy or form layout, and keep your project's existing design rules explicit.

Start with design references you can inspect, then use our guide to briefing an AI coding agent to turn observations into requirements. If you need implementation components, compare UI libraries for your stack.

These pages are public. Browsing a skill does not install it, and TastefulKit's design-reference MCP tools do not search the AI-skill directory.
