Forms, Inputs and Checkout — Task-First Completion Flows

When to use it

Supply the form or checkout flow, task, constraints and any observed failures. Produces field removal/deferral decisions, flow sequencing, microcopy and semantic frontend guidance. Distinct emphasis on guest checkout, cart context, cost/consequence clarity and server-error recovery, beyond basic field layout. No conversion uplift is established without measurement. Does not cover backend payment integration, fraud, tax, legal or PCI compliance; validate recommendations with the actual audience and required constraints. Documentation reviewed only: not installed or runtime-tested. GitHub stars are repository-wide, not skill-specific.

Installation

With Node.js available, run `npx skills@latest add hueyexe/frontend-agent-skills --skill forms-inputs-checkout` and select the host and scope. Keep the entire forms-inputs-checkout directory including references/. Start a new agent session and request a review of the specific form or checkout. See the upstream README for collection installation.

Pair this skill with a visual reference

A skill guides how your agent works; a design reference shows the direction you want. Choose an example for a specific job, such as the headline hierarchy or form layout, and keep your project's existing design rules explicit.

Start with design references you can inspect, then use our guide to briefing an AI coding agent to turn observations into requirements. If you need implementation components, compare UI libraries for your stack.

These pages are public. Browsing a skill does not install it, and TastefulKit's design-reference MCP tools do not search the AI-skill directory.
