Markdown to Designed HTML — md2html — AI skill

When to use it

Use to present a design specification, research readout or proposal as a scannable document rather than a raw Markdown export. Requires the bundled template, component catalog and examples, plus agent file read/write access. Mermaid is loaded from a CDN, so output is not fully offline by default. RTL layout remains limited. Upstream accessibility and cross-agent parity claims are not independently certified; review generated HTML and preserve source facts. Codex custom-prompt locations vary by version. Not installed, executed or runtime-tested during discovery. GitHub stars are repository-wide, not a rating of this skill.

Installation

Claude Code: git clone https://github.com/haidang1810/md2html ~/.claude/skills/md2html, reload and invoke /md2html file.md. Keep template.html, components.md and examples/ beside SKILL.md. For Codex, follow the README’s custom-prompt setup, retain companion files at a stable path and adjust references and prompt location for your version. Antigravity: add SKILL.md as custom instructions with file access to the cloned folder.

Review the source and instructions before installing in your agent.

Pair this skill with a visual reference

A skill guides how your agent works; a design reference shows the direction you want. Choose an example for a specific job, such as the headline hierarchy or form layout, and keep your project's existing design rules explicit.

Start with design references you can inspect, then use our guide to briefing an AI coding agent to turn observations into requirements. If you need implementation components, compare UI libraries for your stack.

These pages are public. Browsing a skill does not install it, and TastefulKit's design-reference MCP tools do not search the AI-skill directory.
